New Jersey American Water Strengthens Partnership with Sustainable Jersey

Commitment as a 10^th Anniversary Silver Sponsor will help support New Jersey sustainability efforts

Today, Sustainable Jersey announced the addition of New Jersey American Water as a 10^th Anniversary Silver sponsor. Sustainable Jersey is celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a year-long program to engage and celebrate the program’s #DecadeofImpact. Since 2017, New Jersey American Water has contributed over $20,000 to the Sustainable Jersey municipal certification program.

Launched in 2009, the Sustainable Jersey municipal program now boasts 449 participating municipalities throughout New Jersey-including 154 municipalities serviced by New Jersey American Water; this is over 86 percent of the company’s territory. “Sustainable Jersey is making a real difference. The 2019 New Jersey Sustainability Summit will take place on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Bell Works in Holmdel. The Summit will celebrate Sustainable Jersey’s 10^th Anniversary and spotlight the many people, organizations, businesses and agencies that have contributed to the organization’s progress.  The Sustainability Summit will include an exhibitor expo and 12 concurrent sustainability sessions.  New Jersey American Water will be an exhibitor at the Sustainability Expo.
