Complete Streets help improve health and safety for people walking and biking. They create better places to live, work, play, learn, and do business. Complete Streets balance the needs of drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, transit riders, emergency responders, and goods movement based on local conditions and context.

 

Completed Municipal Technical Assistance Projects

Since 2018, twenty-four municipalities in the NJTPA region have benefited from the program.

In 2022-2023, seven municipalities were selected to receive technical assistance for projects ranging from walkability workshops to Complete Streets policies. Download the final reports below:
