Career Opportunities
Project and Research Specialist
The Sustainability Institute at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) seeks a creative and motivated person to join our team working on a portfolio of emerging energy and sustainable development issues. The position will work on a diverse portfolio of issues with a particular focus in the area of energy on topics such as energy efficiency in buildings, alternative fuel vehicles and transportation, and renewable energy. The team produces case studies, guidance documents, toolkits, and research reports that are shared with participating local governments. The team also provides direct technical assistance and grants to support local action.
Preferred Qualifications: familiarity with the subject matter including energy and climate, sustainability issues generally, government, and public policy; and ability to conduct public policy research and synthesize findings for non-specialist audiences in written reports and public presentations.
