Community Energy Planning & Implementation Grants

The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities is offering a new round of Community Energy Plan Grants (CEPG) for all New Jersey municipalities. For municipalities that have completed Community Energy Plans, The NJBPU has announced the Community Energy Plan Implementation Grant.

Sustainable Jersey has a wide range of resources to support municipalities in completing this process, including energy data for your municipality and template plans.

Community Energy Plan Grants

NJBPU offers grants to support municipalities in completing Community Energy Plans, a process by which communities collaboratively select emissions-reducing initiatives that help fulfill the goals of state’s Energy Master Plan.

Community Energy Plan Implementation Grants

Municipalities that have completed community energy plans or equivalent plans are eligible to receive up to $250,000 to implement projects identified in their community energy plans.
