Sustainable Jersey and its program partners regularly host trainings and events that support progress toward Sustainable Jersey certification. In general, events posted on the calendar are FREE or of minimal cost.

Single-Use Plastic Pollution Regional Roundtable & Networking Session

The Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions (ANJEC) will host this information session on single-use plastics.  Topics covered include: latest research on the impact of plastics in our waste stream and environment; importance of ordinances and update on State single-use plastics legislation; best practices for education, implementation and multi-town collaboration; and an introduction to stormwater utilities as it relates to flooding and plastics in our waterways.  For more information visit the website
