Sustainable Jersey and its program partners regularly host trainings and events that support progress toward Sustainable Jersey certification. In general, events posted on the calendar are FREE or of minimal cost.

The town of Island Heights will be celebrating Earth Day on April 27, from 10:00 to 2:00 pm. Volunteers will take part in various events to demonstrate support of environmental protection. Such events include: a town-wide cleanup, bioswale maintenance, alkaline battery and styrofoam collection. In addition, information tables will be available on topics relating to green living and ways to save the environment.
