The PSEG Foundation is contributing $200,000 to support another cycle of the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program. With this contribution, the PSEG Foundation has provided $3.4 million dollars in funding to support local sustainability initiatives in municipalities and schools across the state. Since 2009, Sustainable Jersey has distributed over $7.6 million in funding through the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program.

Funding supports efforts to implement projects that help municipalities gain points needed for Sustainable Jersey certification and make progress toward a sustainable future. This cycle will award four $20,000 and eight $10,000 project grants, along with twenty $2,000 project or green team support grants. Applications are due February 9, 2024. Municipalities participating in the Sustainable Jersey program are encouraged to apply.

The webinar will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 1-2:30pm and will review the application process, show examples of potential projects, provide tips on crafting a successful grant proposal, and demonstrate how to use the online application portal. There will be plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
