The New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition is launching a new initiative called the Streets Are for Everyone (SAFE) Network.  This is the inaugural meeting of the SAFE network.  The U.S. DOT has a vision for zero roadway deaths and is committed to addressing every aspect of crash risk through a Safe System Approach. Learn about the Safe System Approach and how to leverage the principles to advance Complete Streets and Zero Deaths Initiatives in your community.  Speakers from the NJ Bicycle and Pedestrian Resource Center at the Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers. Information shared during this meeting could assist with the completion of Sustainable Jersey’s Complete & Green Streets for All Policy action.
