Learn about the 22 model development principles for site design from CWP’s Better Site Design Handbook. These principles act to reduce impervious cover, conserve open space, prevent stormwater pollution, and reduce the overall cost of development. In addition, a hands-on tool for evaluating local development regulations, called the Codes and Ordinance Worksheet, will be discussed, and shared with participants. Last, a case study will share insights from an evaluation of local development codes with a focus on removing barriers to implementing green stormwater infrastructure. Registration will be limited to 50 registrants per training. Priority seating will be given to individuals who work in the Delaware River Basin. For more information, view the flyer.
