This interactive virtual training will be an opportunity for municipal leaders and green team members to get started on the Sustainable Jersey Residential Energy Efficiency Outreach action. This training will focus on how municipalities located in the South Jersey Gas (SJG) territory can partner with SJG to complete the action at the 20-point level using the new Utility Partner Approach.

Topics discussed will include: Best Practices for having successful municipal outreach campaigns; partnering with South Jersey Gas to feature the Smart Energy Partners Home Energy Assessment offer as the centerpiece of a municipal outreach campaign; tips for helping residents make the most of New Jersey’s CleanEnergy Program’s (NJCEP) residential incentive, Home Performance with ENERGYSTAR; how to connect with NJCEP participating contractors that work in yourmunicipality; Sustainable Jersey Toolkits available to help municipalities with energy efficiency outreach campaigns.
