The webinar will provide guidance on how to complete the new Tree Protection & Replacement Ordinance action. This action replaces the existing Tree Protection Ordinance action with one that aligns with and improves on the recent New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) mandate for all municipalities to adopt a community-wide tree ordinance in order to comply with revised stormwater permit (MS4) requirements. The webinar will go over the elements of a tree ordinance necessary to earn points for the Sustainable Jersey action, while protecting and enhancing the tree canopy for sustainable environmental and community benefit.
