New Jersey Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Outreach Technical Assistance
Free technical assistance to help residents and businesses in your municipality learn about New Jersey Natural Gas programs that fund energy efficiency upgrades.
Program Information
The New Jersey Natural Gas Energy Efficiency Outreach Technical Assistance Program was created to help municipalities plan and implement residential or commercial energy efficiency outreach campaigns. The goal of the outreach campaign is to educate residents or commercial businesses on how to use New Jersey Natural Gas’ energy efficiency programs and incentives to complete energy savings upgrades.
During the technical assistance engagement, participating municipalities will receive no-cost, customized technical assistance including:
- Support creating an outreach plan for a 3 month outreach campaign
- Custom outreach collateral (signage, graphics, etc.)
- Outreach program language to be included on the municipality’s website
- Template social media posts
Participating in this program will assist municipalities in completing a number of Sustainable Jersey actions, particularly Commercial Energy Efficiency Outreach, Energy Assistance Outreach, and Residential Energy Efficiency Outreach actions.

- Outreach planning and preparation: July - August 2024
- Outreach campaign implementation: September - November 2024
Eligibility
Municipalities in the NJNG service territory are eligible to apply. See list.
