NJTPA Free Complete Streets Technical Assistance Program
The North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority’s (NJTPA) Complete Streets Technical Assistance Program (CSTA) supports municipalities by providing them with the knowledge, skills and resources to develop Complete Streets-related solutions. Technical assistance is provided through a partnership with Sustainable Jersey and the Voorhees Transportation Center at Rutgers University. The program is made possible through the NJTPA with federal funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Complete Streets is an approach to providing a comprehensive, integrated, connected multi-modal network of transportation options through planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of transportation facilities along the entire right-of-way for all roadway users of all ages and abilities. They help improve the health and safety of people walking and biking. In addition, they create better places to live, work, play, learn, and do business.
