Sustainable Jersey Holds Meetings Across New Jersey To Launch New Certification Program

Sustainable Jersey is holding information sessions for interested municipalities this week and next throughout New Jersey. Presenters will discuss program benefits and how to register and mobilize community resources to begin the program. Sustainable Jersey will provide municipalities that enter the program with a comprehensive package of tools, guidance materials, training, and financial incentives, to support and reward progress. Organizations presenting at the information sessions include the New Jersey State League of Municipalities' Mayors' Committee for a Green Future, the New Jersey Sustainable State Institute at Rutgers University, the Municipal Land Use Center at the College of New Jersey, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
