Did you know that the SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) minimum benefit for older adults was increased in Spring of 2022 from $16.00 to $95.00, but many seniors are not taking advantage of this benefit? Accepting SNAP payment is an important component of Sustainable Jersey's Making Farmers Markets More Accessible action. Consider attending this webinar, hosted by Hunger Free New Jersey, New Jersey Advocates for Aging Well, and Legal Services of New Jersey, on SNAP outreach to seniors and ways to help them apply.
