Sustainable Jersey Launches Success Stories Contest with Funding Support from the PSEG Foundation
on May 19, 2026
Sustainable Jersey is proud to announce the launch of the 2026 Sustainable Jersey Success Stories Contest, made possible through funding from the PSEG Foundation. The contest invites municipalities across New Jersey to showcase impactful sustainability initiatives that are making a lasting difference in their communities.
Through funding provided by the PSEG Foundation, first-, second-, and third-place winners will receive awards ranging from $500 to $2,000 to help further advance their sustainability efforts.
“We are proud to support the Sustainable Jersey Success Stories Contest and recognize the municipalities leading meaningful change for their communities,” said Maria Spina, the Senior Manager for the PSEG Foundation & Corporate Social Responsibility. “These local initiatives demonstrate how innovation, collaboration, and community engagement can create a more sustainable future for New Jersey.”
Municipal leaders, staff, and green teams are encouraged to submit projects, initiatives, campaigns, or other successful efforts that have been implemented, continue to benefit the community, and align with Sustainable Jersey actions and sustainability goals.
Winners will be announced at the Sustainable Jersey Annual Awards Luncheon during the New Jersey State League of Municipalities Conference in November, where selected municipalities will also have the opportunity to present their projects.
