The Mercer County Fire Academy, New Jersey Electric Vehicle Association (NJEVA), and Greater Mercer TMA will host the Electric Vehicle (EV) Awareness Session for First Responders. This FREE, two-hour program is designed to help first responders build knowledge and confidence when responding to incidents involving electric and hybrid vehicles. The session includes a one-hour presentation followed by a one-hour hands-on experience. Participants are asked to download the EV Rescue App prior to the event, which provides access to a comprehensive library of Emergency Response Guides for electric and hybrid vehicles. All attendees must also complete the Google form, with the required waiver and photo release form before participating. This program assists municipalities in gaining points in the Make Your Town EV Friendly action.
