On May 4, 2022, the Plastic Pollution Reduction Act will go into effect. It prohibits (with limited exceptions) the provision or sale of single-use plastic carryout bags, polystyrene foam (aka expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam or "Styrofoam") food service products, plastic straws, and paper bags in stores over 2,500 feet.
