This interactive virtual training will be an opportunity for municipal leaders and green team members to get started on the Sustainable Jersey Residential Energy Efficiency Outreach action. This training will focus on how municipalities can partner with a New Jersey's Clean Energy Program (NJCEP) participating contractor to complete the action at the 20-point level using the Contractor RFP Approach.  

Topics discussed will include: Best Practices for having successful municipal outreach campaigns; partnering with New Jersey Natural Gas to feature the SAVEGREEN Home Energy Assessment offer as the centerpiece of a municipal outreach campaign; tips for helping residents make the most of New Jersey’s Clean Energy Program’s (NJCEP) residential incentive, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR; how to connect with NJCEP participating contractors that work in your municipality; Sustainable Jersey Toolkits available to help municipalities with energy efficiency outreach campaigns.
