This workshop, sponsored by the Center for Creative Land Recycling, NJ Department of Environmental Protection, NJ Business Action Center, and US EPA, addresses legal liability, regulatory issues, funding resources, assessment/remediation, and community engagement to turbo charge redevelopment projects. Caroline Ehrlich, Executive Director of Woodbridge Township's Redevelopment Agency and Sustainable Jersey Board member, joins the, "Lightning Rounds: Ask the Expert" panel to spotlight Woodbridge's experience in gaining support and funding for brownfield redevelopment projects in Woodbridge and answering your questions on municipal leadership. This course will review the Sustainable Jersey green infrastructure actions. If your municipality is struggling with localize flooding or unhealthy waterways, you must come to this workshop. There are 35 points available for green infrastructure planning and another 45 points available for green infrastructure implementation. The Rutgers Cooperative Extension Water Resources Program has already completed green infrastructure plans for over 140 Sustainable Jersey municipalities. Come find out if you are one of them and how you can adopt these plans for Sustainable Jersey points. If a plan is not already developed for your municipality, we will share with you how to get one done.
