34 Grant Recipients Announced at Event on March 12

$200,000 awarded through Sustainable Jersey Grants funded by PSEG Foundation

WHAT: Event to announce the 34 New Jersey municipalities that will receive grants for sustainable projects. Four (4) $20,000 grants, eight (8) $10,000 grants and twenty (20) $2,000 grants will be distributed. Funded by the PSEG Foundation, the Sustainable Jersey Small Grants Program supports projects that leverage resources to make communities more livable, environmentally friendly and prosperous.

Municipalities that will receive grants come from 18 counties: Atlantic, Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren. Over 100 municipalities submitted proposals that were judged by an independent Blue Ribbon Selection Committee. Projects awarded address a broad range of sustainability issues such as energy, water resources, habitat protection and organic waste recycling.
