Public Information & Engagement Task Force

This task force develops actions that provide guidance to local governments on how to enhance ways in which they communicate news to residents, engage the public in community issues and provide access to public information.

Members range in expertise from digital government, traditional and online media, to open data and online engagement, to governmental experience in emergency management, public information, administration, communications and information technology at the state and local levels.
